TAM!!!
TAM!!! I Can't believe it!!!
Super stoked!!! My painting dvd’s “Brushstrokes” came yesterday! And... My issue of TAM (Tattoo Artist Magazine) Is due out very soon! I can’t believe it! I’m sharing the issue with my friend Shige from Japan. We did a split cover. That means that half of them have a painting of mine on the cover which you see here, and half have his, which I haven’t seen but I’m sweatin’ it cause Shige kicks ass!!!! I’m honored beyond words to be featured along side a true tattoo master like him. (I added a pic of us from three years ago. He's invited me to japan to work for a bit!! We're working out the details now. I'll keep you posted) I did the painting a year ago this month for this issue, and can hardly believe it’s actually gonna happen. TAM is am amazing publication, and I am humbled to be a part of it. My interview spans a whopping forty six pages. If you ever wanted to really know me... this is it. Honestly... It exposes some things I’d rather have kept quiet about, but I happened to have been a bit intoxicated during most of the inerview. Only to the point of honesty, not obnoxiousness. The article is obnoxiously long but most of you will just look at the pictures anyway. If I’ve ever asked anything of you??? I ask you now, to contact TAM and buy a subscription. It’s a quarterly trade journal for professional tattooers, so you must work at a legit shop, or have your own studio to subscribe. But I promise you this magazine is a must for anyone making a living tattooing! This article and cover is my proudest moment as a tattooer, and I’m grateful for your support. I hope all of you subscribe, (Tell them I sent you! Make sure you get my issue! It’s the next one! Actually, make sure you get the current one two! It features my friend, Uncle Allan. Awesome guy and amazing tattooer! This publication goes so much farther than your average tattoo magazine. I have every issue since they started. Simply... the best! They’re expensive, but you get more than you pay for. Each copy comes with a dvd.Mine shows me doing the leg piece of “Schism” the Venetian mask with the skull and snakes coming out of it, which won 1st place at the Seattle Tattoo convention last August... Anyway, you can tell I’m stoked! I had never even sent a photo into these guys cause I was so intimidated by the caliber of work they showcase. Thay contacted me a over a year ago and I still don’t think I’ll be ready for a few more years, none the less... it’s here. Me, exposed. My thoughts, insight, ideals, and a few suprises you never would have thought about me. Please check it out!
