Email etiquette, conventions, art, and such...

We get lots of emails everyday. LOTS. So many that it is impossible to respond to them all. If you have emailed us and not received a response, we either haven't gotten to it or perhaps it is a project that is not of interest at this time. We simply do not have enough time in the day. If you are emailing us about an appointment request, please be thorough in your description. Let us know EXACTLY what you want, give a detailed description (color? b&w?...), and let us know where you want it. Jeff chooses projects that complement where he is artistically at the moment. At this moment, he is getting tired of pin-ups and portraiture. So if you are requesting one of these things, we probably won't email you back. We are not being mean, just heading in a different direction. All of Jeff's work is custom, so if you have a piece that interests him and allows him to use his artistic freedom, you are heading in the right direction. We do take new clients occasionally, but there is no "line" to get in, as each project is chosen based on the subject matter and a few other factors.

Please do not email us asking if you can get work done at a convention this year... he is totally booked for ALL 2009 conventions... and we are not booking 2010 yet! Jeff cut back on conventions this year to focus more on his oil painting and seminars, but he'll be at a few. He's taking off for Lady Luck in Reno this weekend. April is busy...Jeff will be at Oregon Ink in Eugene, doing seminars at Off the Map in MA, then he's off to the Northlakes show in Scotland. He is participating in the Innerstate art happening in Hell City in May and has a booth at the Seattle Tattoo Expo in August. At the end of September, he's off to London for a show and guest spots.

In the shop, we are working on a couple of limited edition books that will be available at some point this year. We still have a few DVD's left (see "Brushstrokes" posting if interested) and lots of art! All of Jeff's originals (that we still have!) are for sale, and we have quite a few prints available. We use a top-notch printer for our prints... they are all high quality giclee prints on paper or on canvas. The canvas prints can be stretched on to stretcher bars and they look awesome. I will be updating our website with new pictures soon, to let you guys know what we have available. If you are interested in purchasing art or a DVD, you can contact me (jb) at palasini@mac.com and I will assist you from there.
