"Off the Map"

Ok.. I’m in the chicago airport drinkin jameson and an amber ale. On my way back from “Off the Map” in Mass. Gabe Ripley and Mary Bowen of Off the Map and Tattoo Now are incredible. I did my seminar there. it was full of great people. I had the privilege of Tom Strom sitting in on it, and having him work in the next station from me. Listen... if you haven’t checked out Tom Strom’s work, well... I feel sorry for you. Tom is a true artist. He’s an amazing person, does amazing work and will beat anyone in a dance off! Check out his work! Book some time with him! buy a painting! Buy prints for your friends! And tell him I sent you. He really is one of my favorite guys in the industry. Also, if you want a good support team for your tattoo career, contact Gabe at Tattoo Now, have a web site built and get serious about this thing. It’s only gonna get harder folks. So many people are good now a days, and so many more are getting into this business. Any ways... I’m honored to be one of the “Off the Map” dudes... I thought I wasn’t cool enough, but apparently they’re lowering their standards. Thanks again... Amazing food, cool town, great people. Can’t wait to go back.
